Greater Sylhet Indigenous Peoples Forum (GSIPF)
Founded in 1997 Greater Sylhet Indigenous Peoples Forum (GSIPF) is the first and only national Indigenous Peoples organization in the north-eastern part of the country engaged in the movement for the rights of the Indigenous Peoples for more than two decades.
GSIPF as an umbrella organization unite Indigenous organizations and communities of the region which include the Khasi, Manipuri, Tripuri, Hajong, Patro, Garo peoples and the Indigenous communities living in tea estates into a same platform for an effective and collective movement.
